巴西得克萨斯城This great party has its roots in the transport of cattle through dirt roads from the pastures of Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul and Mato Grosso, passing through Barretos towards the slaughterhouses of this city. The pedestrians of the "entourages" who took these cattle gathered in the evening to play with riding wild horses, then this custom arose. The practice of rodeo in bulls, now much more dynamic than that of horses, was brought from the United States. In 1956, in the city of Barretos, located in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, a group of unmarried boys held the first Peão de Boiadeiro Festival that is known. Since then, this great party has become known internationally for its gigantic structure and high quality of the pedestrians, horses and bulls that present themselves there.
